Fatespinner - Seal Fate

First Post
I don't have the book in front of me and last night in the early am this seemed more unclear, so this is an advanced apology if I missed something basic. :)

That out of the way, the seal fate ability says that the base DC is 20, but that it can be modified by adding spin. It doesn't specify a limit I think, so does that mean I can add, say 14 points of spin (if I accumulate that much). Or, is this limited by the max spin you can put on a spell, which is 3.

Secondly, would you allow this to work on undead?

I would assume the limit of 3 applies here as well.

Probably not. I get the feeling this is a death effect.

I don't think it's a death effect. My books aren't handy, but I thought some brutal, unavoidable event smacked the target; cave-in, meteor strike, earth opening wide, etc like a super-curse.

Nope. They just die.

"As a standard action, the fatespinner selects a size Large or smaller target creature he can see within 100 feet and speaks the words, ”Your fate is sealed”. The target must make a successful Fortitude save (DC 20) or die."
