Favorite Farscape Head-Trip Moments?

In Farscape, what are some of your favorite types of things done to mess with the heads of the cast? I've found that I've drawn on some of the ideas, particularly when dealing with Mind Flayers.

I'm looking to do a session of my game where people act through a dream sequence but don't realize they're asleep, and I'm looking to Farscape for inspiration.

By far my favorite is when John and Chiana are in the fairy tale supposedly created by Stark, with Aeyrn as the princess.

The episode where the ship is caught in the middle of a jump, and was split into three parts was pretty trippy too, but in a more serious way.

I caught the second one, but could you tell me more about the first one?

And heck, while you're at it, do you remember what the gimmick of the three-part Starburst ep was?

I enjoyed the whole thing with Scorpy being inside John's head. THey did some wonderful stuff with that. I think that entire bit was some of my favorite stuff. I've kind of drawn on some of that for my Buffy game.

This site will do a much better job than I of explaining.

John Quixote

Chiana and John pick up a thingee that Chiana explains is like a virtual reality simulator. This one is rigged to trap the pair inside though, and seems to have been created by Stark. The pair have to navigate the game, where all the characters are warped versions of the Farscape folk.

Through The Looking Glass

Persued by the Peacekeepers, Moya, pregnant, decides to starburst even though she doesn't have enough energy, trapping them in a strange world where everything is divided into three worlds, each tinted oddly and having strange effects on the crew.

"Crackers Don't Matter" - the one with the alien that drives the whole crew insane with anger at each other

"A Bug's Life" - the ep. with the Peacekeepers and the intelligent virus (I think they called it "intellent")

The one which I saw mostly at random (not actually being that much of a Farscape fan) during which everyone went very Warner Bros. with cartoons and so forth. Incredibly funny, even if I spent most of it going 'HUH?'

Personally, I always loved the one with the scent-dealers, where Chi and Jool get sorta-kidnapped by the scent guy and then auctioned off? That scene had some great head-trip moments in it.

For more mental stuff, the eps where John "gets back" but only meets people from his memory (it's part of an alien simulation) and the where he gets slapped back on Earth with Moya's crew acting human were both good. The first has some funny moments and is a good mind-frell, while the second is just excellent because, as Harvey says, "The Scarran is not trying to fool you. He is trying to break you." The mind-frell isn't trying to trick John into thinking he's back on Earth. It's trying to break his mind, which is a great deal more interesting and plausible.
