From the moment he first removes his helmet at the beginning of the movie, you know that there is something inhuman and unnatural about him. As the movie goes on, it becomes more and more apparant that he is a being incapable of compassion or mercy. He is a demon in human skin.

Conan: "You killed my mother! You killed my father! You killed my people!"

Thulsa Doom: "Must have been when I was younger."

That is the most heartless thing I ever heard. Brutal.
