The fiendish giant squid. I mean, how could it not be?

Course, I outlawed all outsiders apart from elementals in my game, so while the squids a favorite the elementals are far more common.
 

The Succubus of course... oh wait, are you talking about combat effectiveness? I'd just be casting the spell to get some use out of the Guide to Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. ;)

Unfortunately, she's only around for slightly less than two minutes. The spell you're looking for is Planar Binding. :)

Interesting... out of curiousity, what do you do at the levels where Elementals are not available (1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th)? Is Summon Monster just not available at those levels, or do the Celestial/Fiendish creatures just lose their Outsider template?
