The ball and chain from that game was a lot of fun too.
I'm also a big fan of Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick. ;)

When I played that with my brothers, we'd plant mines at all the spawn points. In one game, I got caught in alternating spawn point booby traps. I think I died 8 times in a row, with my brothers alternating kills.

I can't remember if it was Duke Nukem or Doom, but...the chainsaw.

And, about that same vintage, there was a "fantasy FPS", whose name escapes me now. There was a wand in that game that turned your targets into chickens.

Doom had the chainsaw. Duke's claim to fame is the jetpack(not a weapon, but awesome for other reasons).

The fantasy fps was Heretic; it was shortly followed by similar titles Hexen and Hexen 2, in which you could choose between fighter, cleric and mage; sadly, these had no chicken wands.

Game: Redneck Rampage
Weapon: Crossbow with dynamite bolts.
Call me simple, but nothing says BA like a stick of dynamite.

the super shotgun from liero, great game simple with no useless grafics to slow it down.

or:

CATapult Ring
"It isn't that effective, but the screaming cats alone make it worth it."
This silver band is carved to crudely resemble a cat biting its own tail.

When a charge is spent, the CATapult Ring summons up to five cats that dart forth from the ring at ballistic speeds with unerring accuracy. The cats fly at the target with claws flailing causing 1d4+1 points of damage automatically striking the target, even if the target is in melee or has anything less than total concealment. Specific parts of the target cannot be singled out. The damage inflicted on the target by each cat is also inflicted on the cat that caused the damage (roll for cat's hp 1/2d8). Cats that survive the impact are magically bound to, and depend on the summoner for food and all other care that a normal animal should receive. They are not and cannot be dispelled or gotten rid of by any means short of death. There are even rumors of wielders of this ring to be haunted by the presence of the ghostly cats that have perished, and rumors of cats swarming the graves of dead ring wearers. Even if the cat were to be locked into a treasure chest, devoured by a Purple Worm which was banished into another dimension, and so on, the cat would return to the summoner the very next day.

This ring can expend 5 charges per day, and up to 5 charges in a round (1 charge = 1 cat).

3) The cheat for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that gives you a one hit kill super-punch/lanucher. So, soo funny to see people flying 50 to 100 feet after you lay into them. Even better after a couple of beers
That's my favourite cheat! Combine it with the rocket pack generator and invincibility, and you're suddently the ghetto Man of Steel!!

(By the by, I tend to follow your threads in the RPG forurms, and you're always entertaining. I gotta meet you some year.)

My fav weapon is on Unreal Tournament as well as Ratchet & Clank. I don't know the "official" name, but I call it the sawblade thrower. It hurls, well, circular saw blades that bounce all over the place until they hit an opponent. How FUN would THAT be?

I am also entirely too partial to any boomerang-esque weapons. And the Belmont whip.
