Runners-up include the sentinel from Nightfire, the Double Helix Blade, and the infinite-height-air-combo-into-a-5,000-ft-pile-driver from Spider-Man 2.

Very silly but the Sheep and Super Sheep in the PC game Worms are among my favourite weapons. I imagine that that wasn't quite the type of thing you were looking for though!

When I first saw this, I thought "Pong"- Old, relatively heavy, lots of hard corners...nice weapon!

I'd have to say I'd like to have one of my cars from the old Autoduel (Car Wars on computer) game, with lasers on their frickin' roofs, rocket launchers, and a big honkin' engine.

I miss that game. It did get me looking for the Car Wars game and GURPS: Autoduel though. I think that may have been the first time a video game got me to hunt an RPG that inspired it...
