Favourite 3.5E dungeon adventures?

P.S. I'm thinking of a "dungeon adventure survivor" thing could be fun, to coincide with the last dungeon release. Thoughts?

You know, I'd love to pick up the Whispering Cairn, but I'm wary about another AP.
I used the Cairn to jumpstart my non-AoW campaign. So you definitely don't have to use it as part of an AP.

It's great. There's one, small issue I have with it, but overall I think it's one of the best 1st level adventures I've ever read.

My list:

1) The Whispering Cairn
2) Into the Maw
3) The Styes
4) Chimes at Midnight
5) Maure Castle (if only because it has been immensely lootable)

I was considering a poll of best Dungeon adventure for the year for a bit now. It was complicated by the dominance of the adventure path (it's hard to separate the rating for a single adventure vs. the whole path) and WotC burying the magazine.

. My players did not bite and even I felt it was a bit weak going in, but I thought I'd leave it in anyways.

Not a big deal, but w/e.

Looking at my rather large homemade Dungeon Magazine .txt file...

Mad God's Key (1st level/Dungeon #114) - Jason Bulmahn
The Whispering Cairn (1st level/Dungeon #124) - Erik Mona
The Stink (4th level/Dungeon #105) - Monte Lin
Fiendish Footprints (6th level/Dungeon #122) - Tito Leati
Mellorn Hospitality (7th level/Dungeon #107) - Russell Brown
The Shadows of Spinecastle (9th level/Dungeon #148) - Stephen S. Greer and Gary Holian
Lost Temple of Demogorgon (14th level/Dungeon #120) - Sean K. Reynolds
Vlindarian's Vault (18th level/Dungeon #141) - Johnathan M. Richards
Heart of Hellfire Mountain (20th level/Dungeon #140) - Dave Olson

These seemed to stand out as great one shots.

Rob Kuntz's Maure Castle adventures (#112, 124, 139) and Eric Boyd's Waterdeep adventures (#126, 127, 128) featuring the Dungeon of the Crypt.

Not mentioned thus far, but I really enjoyed running:

Siege of the Spider Eaters
Funeral Procession

Also on my list of favorites:

Whispering Cairn
The Styes
Maure Castle (and add-ons)

My god, that's a fun little adventure. I read it, and swore I'd run it one of these days. And one of my groups ran through it just before I joined them, and had a blast with it.

I'd make a few changes to it, if I ran it myself (for example, swap out the spider eaters for something else...), but beyond that, it's an amazing little piece of work.
