(FDP's Dragon's Breath)-A Note to Aspiring Artists

Hello!

Over at www.fierydragon.com , this week's Dragon's Breath article is called "The Art of Submission". The title could be deceiving if you possess a freakishly dirty mind (and who's kidding who around here), but in actual fact it is an advice column to all the aspiring fantasy artists out there who are looking to "break in" and get their work published.

It gives advice on areas such as how to build a portfolio, self-promotion, and the in's and out's of the interview/contact process - just like the professionals. There's even a forum on our message boards to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

So, if you've been showing your work around with no success and are looking for confirmation that you're on the right track atleast, or have always wanted to get into the fantasy art game but not to sure how to go about it, give the Art of Submission a look.

I must admit, I was very excited about the article after seeing the title. I thought, "Finally! We're taking FDP in the direction that I'd always planned!!" But, alas, this article is for artist submissions.

Still, you could have thrown a few chainmail-bikinis at us man!

I see a competition coming up where we try to out-do eachother with the most mis-leading column titles.... hmmm....
