If you want your PCs to have more feats, tell them to play humans and the basic BASIC classes that give bonus feats instead of more munchkin power (fighters and wizards instead of barbs and sorcs). As to the number of feats that exist, they don't have to. Even if you own 30 official WotC books like I do, you don't have to use them as I don't. Just because you or one of your players own a supplemental book doesn't mean that you have to allow ANYTHING in it.

using basic classes isn't the point of this thread - the OP is trying to finda new way to get more feats into his/her game - and some players might want to play a dread necro/bard/paladin/ranger/truenamer, which doesn't help his/her position. WotC has published many classes, and many feats, and this thread is about options - so limiting them is not a great idea, IMO. Also, you are not even truely adressing how to get more feats in a new way, which is what the OP is asking - this is house rules and you shouldn't treat it liek the well-trodded Path of RAW

I have no sympathy for anyone who complains that 'waaaa, I only have 7 feats at 20th level!'. Here's the world's smallest smily face crying for you .
