Feat: Force Substitution

Well, with all the people posting their Force prestige classes and new spells, I came up with this while sitting at work. Feel free to buzz in if someone already posted this or if you think its great/sucks.

Force Substitution
Prerequisites: any 2 other metamagic feats
Benefit: You may convert any spell into a (Force) spell. Doing so causes it to deal pure magic force damage, such as from a magic missle and is not subject to any forms of elemental resistance or damage reduction. This also allows the spell to affect a incorporeal or etheral creature without miss chance.
Special: A Force Substituted spell takes up a slot 2 levels higher than normal.

Ok, I figured the +2 lvl adjustment seemed fair as it overcomes any form of elemental resistance, fire shields etc etc. On second thought, I am not so sure as a person could use the Elemental Substitution with no level adjustment, and choose sonic, which almost nothing has resistance too. Perhaps +1 lvl is more in line?

(Edit) It doesnt seem quite as good as Empower which is a +2, but its likely a better choice than still or silent which are both only +1. Such a delima!

IMO, Elemental Substitution(Sonic) is too useful at +0 levels. Because it overcomes so many resistances. I've compensated by using more sonic resistant creatures when someone took this feat. However, note that the feat you've may (perhaps inadvertantly) allows any damage spell to affect incorporeal creatures, justifying its +2 level hike.
