Feat Prerequiste

Heya!

Does meeting a feat stat prerequiste need the natural score or can it be augumented by a magical item to the required score?

I noticed a lot of the feats in Epic Level requires some stats to be 25 and getting that naturally is difficult... isn't it?

Thanks!

Yes, enhancement and inherent bonuses to ability scores count, providing you've had them throughout your last level.

You can use whatever continious enhancement you like, as long as you had those for the majority of your last level.

Note that if you for whatever reason drops below the required stat score your ability to use the feat is temporarily suspended.

Not really, by eg at level 20 an elf could have a natural Dex score of 30 (rolled 18, +2 racial, +5 leveling, +5 inherent from a Manual of Quickness of Action). At Epic levels this could be even higher.

I think the manuals cap out at +5.

Actually, that is correct, but totally and utterly irrelevant for this discussion ...

How's it irrelevant? They cap out at +5 and don't stack with each other.

Yeah, so what ?? What your point ??

The Manuals or Tomes ability increase are inherent bonuses, so they wouldn't stack with inherent bonuses granted from a wish or other inherent bonus sources.

The ability increase from leveling is an unnamed bonus not an inherent bonus, so they stack nicely.

Just pointing it out because above in the thread someone mentions a +6 Manual of Quickness of Action.
