D&D 5E Feat to Background Conversion?

I created these feats for a 3.5E setting, I would like some help converting them to 5th Edition...

Since 5e doesn't have favored classes, it's not so obvious what you want to do?

I just bought the new PH, did notice there are no real requirements for any of the classes or races. Look at the whole feat, though, not just the class options...

Looking at my feats without the class changes, would any of them not work as backgrounds in 5E?

They aren't much like a background. At the very least I'd translate them to actual backgrounds with actual background benefits. "X and X are always class skills" sucks compared to "gain proficiency in X and X", you don't have starting gear packages, you don't have a feature worth having, etc. The concepts are fine, but the execution falls flat for the 5e ruleset.

Yeah, they were made for 3.5, so I need some ideas for things like special features.

Backgrounds aren't to hard to bang out. Fluff, arbitrary benefit, fluff, two proficiencies, fluff...

How "arbitrary" are the benefits in a background? What are the parameters involved in making new ones?
