Feats for boosting Use Magic Device

Is there a feat that gives +2 to Use Magic Device and a related skill, like Spellcraft or Decipher Script? If not, what is that feat called that does that for any two related skills?

I'm trying to boost my Use Magic skill as much as possible. The synergy bonuses from Spellcraft and Decipher Script stack, which is cool, but it only works for scrolls.

I'm not sure if that was the Sage, I know a lot of folks House Rule it that way. I love this question, I think Use Magic Device is way underused...

Use Magic Device is gross. My friend loves making god-wizards, he'll manage to get use magic device on his arcane spell-caster then he just buys divine scrolls, the party doesnt need a healer anymore. Wands cover healing, and scrolls cover tough spots and resurrection. It gets ugly and irritating fast. I think its the most broken skill in the game.

Technik4, Use Magic Device is a bard and rogue exclusive skill. Unless your friend's "god-wizards" also have a lot of levels of bard or rogue they should not be able to use this skill.

Seems like maybe there was a feat that made a skill into a class skill, but the only one I can think of is Cosmopolitan, which I think only applies to non-exclusive skills.

Hmmmm.

How does this "god-wizard" get the Use Magic Device skill?
Its Trained only and Rogue only.

So he would have to be a Wizard/Rogue multi-class and then this skill is caped at Rogue lvl +3. Scrolls would be really hard to cast from unless he was a high lvl Rogue but then his wizard spells would be hurting. Might as well take Wizard/Cleric classes.

I don't believe that this is right. The character cannot put skill points into the skill unless he's advancing in a class that has use magic device (it is exclusive). But the max number of skill ranks is character level +3 not rouge level +3.

(Tyrrell looks at his words and considers the possibility of having to eat them. He then shakes his head head and mutters nerviously, "No, I'm right about this one")

Tyrrell, you are correct for all except exclusive skills, where the cap is class level +3.

Can't make you eat your words because I could not find a cite in the SRD. You will have to find something else for lunch.

Exclusive skills are limited to the class that has it so are that class lvl +3.

If you are Bard/Rogue then that would be the same as Character lvl +3 but thats because both classes have it as a class skill.
