Feats for my wizard.

I have a 5th level human Diviner. His feats are: Spellcasting Prodigy, Improved Inititive, Spell Focus: Evocation and now, at 5th level, Extend Spell.

What I have in mind for this character is a balanced wizard that's decent at dealing out damage, casting divinations and using buffing spells to make his allies better. He's a sort of out-going character with a burning desire to travel and learn. Here's what I have in mind for my next few feats:

6th level - Leadership (Charisma 14)
9th level - Spell Penetration
10th level - Craft Weapons and Armor or Craft Wondrous Item
12th level - Quicken spell

Tell me what you think. I want to hear it. I can take it.

Too many npcs spoil the party.

I dislike leadership, I'd go for something else that your character can use such as a craft at an earlier level than you otherwise would. Greater spell focus is not bad if you want to really make sure your evocations land.

Is he eventually going for loremaster? After three meta or craft feats all you'd need is a skill focus.

I'm either sticking with pure wizard or holding out for Archmage. I like the idea of the loremaster but I dislike the mechanics of the class.

Since you have extend spell, consider eventually picking up persistent spell. My loremaster has found persistent detect secret doors a great benefit in his non-elf party.

It's an awesome feat, though you might prefer Clinging Breath. That's a real good one too. I can't remember where Quicken Breath is from. Maybe Dragon mag? I know that's where clinging breath was.

Oh - that's a great idea. Thanks Voadam.
