Feats for units in a Mass Combat system

Hey there.

Looking for some suggestions for feats for combat units.

I'm currently home-brewing a mass combat system. Not very far along as yet. But, in response to a player request, I'm trying to dream up ways to get use out of some character skills: PS Soldier and KS Battle (or tactics, call it what you will). KS Battle is for commanders and is to be used for determing the number of orders that can be given in a round and things like initiative.

For PS Soldier I've decided to expand on the concept of it being the approximate training level of a soldier. Specifially it's the stat used to determine a unit's ability to perform manoeuvres as well as the number of specific manoeuvres known by the unit. These manoeuvres are basically extra feats ( I know, I know: MORE feats. :eek: )

So far I've got ones like: Shield Wall and Testudo (the Roman Legion's famous 'tortoise') and Close Formation Fighting (necessary for units to work as Heavy Units) and Skirmish. The feats come in feat trees as per normal. For instance Shield Wall requires a unit to have Close Order Fighting first.

Was hoping for a little inspiration from the ranks of gamer-dom for a few more. Maybe some for magical units or flying units.

Actually while I'm asking for help: any inspiration for additional uses for KS Battle would be great too!!

And what about Bards? Acting as signallers, helping rally broken units, extra command points maybe as well as giving bardic morale bonuses.

(Almost feel guilty that I'm getting others to all my work. Almost.)

Awesome Presence - Units make an automatic Rally check with big bonus as long as commander is visible

Quick Wheel - The unit can change direction (face) as a move action (req: Close Formation)

Trample?
Flying Wedge - If a unit gets rolls a natural 20 on a charge it gets to roll another d20 and add the result

All the Marshall Auras?
