I have only used this ability once. I ran an epic campaign once where at the end of the campaign the players bet me actual money that they could beat any God I could make "by the rules" as long as it had less 30 class levels (avarge party level was 60 at the time). I the god I made had 30 levels of Psion and the Permanent Emanation (Antimagic Field/Null Psionics Field) feat. He teleported near the encamped party activated his Antimagic Field and ran up to thier camp (which was less than 200ft in diameter) the entire party died in the first round of combat. Apparently they had not seen the Divine Splendor ability and had heard that epic level characters had nothing to fear from gods after about 60th level. They were wrong and they paid for it.:D So some times I taunt them about meeting God. There was also a very humorous incident where a new player, who was playing a druid at the time, strated talking about how God was every where and in every thing (which is simlar to what the player actually believes). One of the player from the epic campaign turned pale when I smiled at him suggestively and strated arguing metaphysics with the the new player. Who became upset when the rest of the group started laughing. The new player though we were laughing at her beliefs. But she found it all very amusing once we explained it to her. Which I was greatful for because it really was very funny.
