One Eye doesn't like the way this conversation is going at all. Ninja Boy seems to think the samurai is hiding something through his denial of knowing that girl. Sun Jin just threatened to give him the scare of his life, and it's only logical that all this stress they're putting on him is getting to be too much. Still, you don't draw a lethal weapon on someone unless you're looking for a fight. Something doesn't add up here...

OOC: I'm going to make another Police roll to see if this guy is hiding something. If he truly doesn't know about that girl, I'll have One Eye put his hand on Edge's shoulder and calmly tell him to lay off the guy.

Police roll: 9 + 4 (Blue) - 1 (Orange) = 12

BTW, is that last post supposed to be the chicken's response to Dennis's inquiry?

oodm:I was waiting for anyone else to do stuff, because it seems like velmont and rbingham are doing a lot of the posting, but sure, I'll move it along.
And the last two posts were bumps, that is they send the thread to the top of the playing the game section, so it's easier to find. As to dennis's inquiry, one eye pretty much answered it for him.
Sorry for the confusion.

IDM: One Eye doesn't seem to think that the samurai is hiding information as to the location of the girl. "Not killing us isn't the first step, but saying that would be a first step to you're death if you actually tried to carry through with it. We ask you to investigate a certain site where we think the architects have there teleporting equipment and possibly the girl."

Edge turns to have another card in his hand, this time directed at the freaks at his side:

**************
*......................*
*..SO,..ARE..WE..*
*.....GOING?.......*
*......................*
**************

The thought that the girl might be at the place these guys have mentioned is music to One Eye's ears. "All right -- where do you want us to go, and what can we reasonably expect once we get there?"

Turning his good eye toward the chicken near Dennis's feet, he adds, "And just what are we going to do about that chicken? I'm having some major misgivings about taking him with us to what looks like a serious fight, and there's no way in hell I'm letting him wind up on someone's menu."

"Whoa there!" Dennis says, taking offense on behalf of the chicken. "Let the bird decide if he's coming or not. He's already been useful in finding leads and at the very least he can watch our backs. Might even peck out someone's eyes if things turn really ugly."

He looks at the transformed rooster and gives him a sharp nod of approval.

The rooster strikes some strange pose and points with his feathers and jabbers. When no one can understand him, he grabs the card out of edge's hand and scratches in the words'sure, I'll come'. The samurai then lays out some pictures of a warehouse near the docks. "this is where we suspect one of these teleporting areas is. We think that this is the main one that lets them come in through the future, but we can never be sure. If our assumption is correct, then there will probably be a heavy guard, and at least one man of the skill level that escaped you today. What your mission is is to infultrate this place, pretending to be a fish packing plant, and find out if these are where the teleporters are. If they're there, try to sabotage them. If the girl is there or the guy that was in the restaurant today...well, I don't think I have to tell you what to do."
