"Don't sell yourselves short ladies. I'm sure you've been somewhere that few of us have been. And true beauty lies not only in the skin, but in the soul. Anyone who does not see your true beauty is a fool."

"Vanitri and Rosalynn? I believe I heard that they went missing from one of the caravans a while ago. Vanitri apparently disapeared when an attacking goblin raiding party vanished durring the fight, and I beleave the elders said Rosalynn went off to find him. Tis good to know they are all right, and I shall inform their caravan elders. I'm sure they wander now, as is the freefolk way, even without a caravan."

"And true beauty lies not only in the skin, but in the soul. Anyone who does not see your true beauty is a fool."
*Lasair blushes.*

"You flatter me, Rinaldo of the Freefolk. But how rude of me. I am called Lasair. Vanitri and Rosalynn were at the Red Dragon Inn in Orussus when I saw them last, singing and dancing and bringing light and music to the place...though they vanished while I went out to speak to the city's clan wardens. I hope they are safe as well."

"Well Lasair, why don't you tell me a little bit about the land you are from, and how and why you came to be here."

"Hmm...my land is not as beautiful or interesting as the lands around here--just a barren place. I look forward so much to exploring these strange lands with your huge and exotic rivers and even more unbelievable things of which I have heard, like the even bigger rivers called oceans. You must have seen so many wonderful things in all your travels! Can you tell me a story about these far-off places?"

"Oh, I've been around. I've sailed the ocean once, seen grand underground waterfalls and explored a rainforest. I've crossed deserts, trecked trough swamps, and climbed mountains. I've races you rarely see here, and cultures that vary greatly. From the exotic Katara to just good ole humans. But I've not found anything like the companionship and comradery of the Freefolk, and I have spent much of my life in the caravans and eventualy leading them when needed. Here, I'm family. No matter if I'm here or if I go, nor for however long I'm gone, I'm still family. Moving from town to town, selling, trading, or salvaging what we need, looking after each other. Truely is the life."

Rinaldo turns his attention a bit towards Elise "Surely you have more to tell. I'm sure a beauty such as yourself has some story to tell of why she's here."

Rinaldo calls to have more stew and ale brought for any who want it.

OOC: He's called for others to talk as well, so feel free to interject. This is a bit of a freeform conversation, and is limited more by the PbP format than anything else. So don't think you're interupting anything by speaking. :)

O, um... no not really Elise stammers at the direct question I mean nothing really Big has ever happened to me. Pretty uneventful till I was accepted into the academy. After that the years past in a flurry and I was here. As to why I'm here feeding a chunk of stew to Ligeia I suppose I'm here because someone asked me to be here. Still sounding a bit uncomfortable

He pauses for a moment. "As fer adventures, I gotta few. There was this one I went on, we cleared out this vinyard place... had a lotta nasty critters in it, like some overgrown wolves an' some nasty orcs..." He looks to Fang. "No offense ta present comp'ny, a course." He smiles. "An' this other time we went ta this wizard Delmon's tower, since he needed some help er somethin', an' then we went off ta this monastery somewhere, an' fought some more a th' orcs an' an ogre er somethin', an' this crazy druid er somethin' that changed inta an eagle an' flew off after he tried ta summon a demon er somethin'. An' th' last one I went on, we were headin' ta Rivenblight with a caravan ta hunt down some bandits, though that one didn't turn out so well... still not too certain how they got me back an' inta town, but eh, I'm here, y'know? As fer what I've learned... well, I got some neat tricks with a whip, an' I got a better sense a smell, but that's 'bout it. Haven't really gotten any hints as ta where what I'm lookin' fer got off ta, an'... that's 'bout it."

Fang smiles and takes no offense. "Me fren, I'd be deh first to admit dat dere be plenty'a bad orcs out dere. But, if Fang be evidence of anyting, it be dat dere some good ones'as well."

After being cajoled for a few minutes, Fang finally opens up to the stranger. "Surein I be agreein wit yeah bout deh road'an all. No better place ta be. An no better people to share it wit den people dat trust yue wit dere lives. Me time on deh road has been short, but already I be hopin dat I spen deh res'o'me days der."

"As fer exploits, I'm sorry ta say dat I'm still wet behind da ears. Outside a battlin me kin since birf, not much has happen to ol'Fang".

"Dat is, unless yue count me battle with learnin common" Fang finished with a smile.
