"Hand carved marble by my wife and I. We modeled for them too." He motions to his wife, who does indeed quite the image of womanly beauty, and not quite normaly perportioned herself. He to is quite well sculpted himself, and while there is some resembelences between them and the pieces, they aren't quite accurate, but that could be accounting for several of the exagerations (which do make the pieces look different enough that no two types look quite the same, and you wouldn't have guessed that they are the same model). "Not sure I can cut you much more on the price, though I do have a simple one over there." He motions to a set carved in colored stone, much simpler and more standard style pieces, which are well but quicly carved. "That one will run 10 gold, and comes with a roll up leather mat."

Give me some time to think, I should return by the end of the day. Elise will put some thought into if she wants it that much or not, and maybe look for anouther set

OOC: It's interesting, and sugestive. Nothing quite out and out, but it's there, and perhaps that's part of the attaction for some people. Honestly, if you're looking for something I find entertaining, look up Carver in my Sig, and then read what he's been talking about in the Elven Wedding. He's been probably best described as a Gnomeforged

"I'm afraid I'm not a good judge of what is a deal here with the gold coins. In my land, we would value the artistic skill of those who could make such things, but I am truly at a loss as to what to pay...Would it help if you had my coins?" Lasair asks, pulling out however much gold she happens to have now--she isn't keeping track.

(OOC: Well, I did a survey, and 100% of all chess sets in my room were like that, so I figured I could conclusively assume it as the norm.)
