Oirhandir was frustrated, but he tried hard not to show it. After all it was his own fault, why should he expect a direct answer to such an indirect question?

There was no sense in pressing the issue further...it would only spoil what was shaping up to be a delightful day. And if her heart was as fond of him as his was of her, he would have no trouble in coaxing directions to her family's plantation from her by the end of the festival.

He continued in elven,
"Ah, so an old family friend then, or at least a good trading partner. It is good to have such connections."
Oirhandir suddenly realized that he didn't know if Lord Valdor could speak the High Tongue or not; he relaxed a bit as he decided that he hadn't said anything that was disrespectful or embarassing about the aristocrat. His tensions melted away, replaced by thoughts of how lucky he was to have such a lovely maiden by his side.

The party resumed their exploration of the south field.

Again, Oirhandir glanced at his pretty companion. Was she amused by his good-spirited teasing of Elise, or shooting him a look of reproach? The elf felt that the shapely mage had set herself up for his ribbing, but didn't wish to offend what was to him the most beautiful elf at the whole festival.

*Lasair can't help but laugh a little bit at Oirhandir's joke, but she tries to keep it politely quiet. Even so, she feels good--it is not often that she can even understand the sense of humour of the humans who live around here...perhaps the elven humour shares more in common with her own culture's. Then again, if she could afford anything interesting like Elise's wondrous scrolls--a pity that power stones are utterly worthless--that could have easily been she.*

The merchant at Wandorama looks at you with a tear in his eye as he takes down his 40% off sign. He looks rather dejected.

OOC: No, not realy, but I've been known to be dastardly like that :p On a side note, I'll finish more sidetalk and wanderings tonight, I should be heading to bed soon, and hopefully we can hear from one of the 3 missing adventurers soon. I hope to kick this up a bit in pace and finish maybe by the end of September :)

I do things like that all the time too. This one time, in Planescape, one of my players accidentally created a deity by convincing so many people that he existed...belief is everything :D)

Elise mocks alittle indignity at all the laughs, having trouble keeping a smile of her own face

OOC: Lol and all that jargon
