Feudal Lords Map - Lowlands

Every wondered what lands lay between Cthonia and the Hillands (a region of Terra featured in A Question of Honor: A Guidebook to Knights)? It is the Lowlands, a land inhabited by gypsies and the tyrannical forest kingdom of Darcadia. Since it is the most direct route for crusaders to reach the beleaguered Hillands to the south, pilgrims be wary.

Nice!

Although I find something a bit clashing - at times, you are using a more photorealistic approach in the map (e.g. the mountains), but at other times the map is more stylized, especially with the cities and the forest (which looks too sparse to be non-stylized).

Thanks for the comment - the mountains do consist of about three different layers some of which is satellite photography. There is also an underforest layer which is hard to see. While we wanted to have a different approach, attempting to recreate a more realistic map (something the GM might see at space), we wanted to also have the representational map clearly defined. Therefore, the sparse forest and the cities are the way they are. But, there is two distinct styles. Perhaps, the mountains edges could have a better transition with the rest of the map.

Thanks again.
