Feycharger?

The 1,000 DPR Feycharger was actually getting a LOT (half?) of that damage from slashing, not feycharging. And while Fey Charge was indeed fixed, slashing was not.

(Slashing, using one of two PPs that do damage when you teleport away from/to someone, and get an at-will teleport. Then find other ways to enhance the teleporting damage, usually via vulnerabilities)
 

I do hope they nerf slashing, but not as far as some people want. (Once per round). I'd be ok with an eladrin swordmage|warlock(feytouched) slashing on ethereal sidestep to disengage, then slashing again on a fey charge to attack the target, and then slashing one more time on the immediate reaction assault aegis teleport.

I hope they remove the ability to add extra damage to slashing (via vulnerabilities, etc.), and maybe the ability to split your teleport via those planestepping boots.

I'd also be ok with a rule that says you can only deal slashing damage to a target once per turn (but you could hit multiple targets with extra teleports).

Yeah, that is fairly absurd. Especially because the concept is fairly nice. Or at least, taking the initial feat and pairing it with a few others like Surprising Charge.

Yeah, before the full build was developed, I had a character just using Fey Charge and Roundabout Charge, simply to have the opportunity to constantly bounce in and out of combat all the time. Which was fun! I think you can still do some fun stuff with the basic concept, even if the full nonsense is no longer attainable.
