Okay, I don't do reviews, and when I like a product, I usually just say "I like this" and leave it at that. Rarely will you see me ramble on about how good something is. With that in mind, here goes:
Hands down, Fantasy Flight Games' Monster's Handbook has got to be the most useful d20 sourcebook I have purchased to date. It adds value to every d20 product with monsters you own by allowing you to customize and enhance those monsters in new ways to keep them fresh for your players in all your campaigns. The system and tools presented for customization and enhancement, including adjustments to the oft-dreaded CR, is well thought out and simply stated to make it easy enough to follow. You can even use the system and tools to build your own monsters. It is written is such a way that it also serves as an idea mine - you will be amazed at how many ideas for monsters, both existing and ones you wish did, will come to you as you read it, and you've got the tools to make it happen. This book is probably the best investment you can make for your game.
And it's written by Mike Mearls, my personal favorite writer of the "d20 Generation", so you know you can't go wrong
