[FFG] Trying to contact Greg

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me: I emailed Greg at FFG regarding the Midnight novels about two weeks ago, and again this past week and I haven't heard back from him. I'm using my hotmail account with a clear subject line....any chance its getting blocked or something? The other thought is perhaps he's on vacation. If someone had some insight, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I play in a weekly Tuesday night D&D game with Greg. He's had a lot on his plate with the request for Dragonstar novel writing samples in addition to the regular crush of FFG stuff.

I would make sure that you have given him adequate time to respond.

If you have, let me know, and I'll try to direct his attention to your thread here so he can email you directly.

PS--How did a schlub like me end up in a gaming group with 2 guys from Atlas and 2 from FFG?

If you're looking for a response to a fiction sample, I'd counsel patience. And then patience. And then even more patience.

Trust me, these things take time, and a lot of it. Right now, Greg's probably regretting he ever heard the words "fiction" and "sample" in the same sentence... ;)

(And if you submitted, best of luck. I know I'm waiting to hear back from him on my own sample, whenever he finally plows through all the entries.) :)

Thanks everyone! I did indeed submit a sample, and its the first time I've ever done anything like this. I am indeed being patient but wasn't sure of the timeframe. Not receiving a message indicating "got your stuff", I just wanted to make sure it indeed got there. I can happily wait knowing Greg is slaving away :D

The winners have been posted. No surprise that well established authors were chosen. That will make the books even better!
