Fiendish physical description

Legend
How do you describe the difference that the fiendish template makes in a creature?

The srd only gives this snippet: "Fiendish creatures dwell on the lower planes, the realms of evil, although they resemble beings found on the Material Plane. They are more fearsome in appearance than their earthly counterparts."

Depends on what I think the parent was usually. There are tons of ways to describe fearsome.

Though my favorite picture was in Green Ronin's T&A book with the beautiful society woman that had a shadow with horns.

I think you mean A&T for Aasimar and Tiefling. T&A book has a different connotation :)

I saw a D&D fiendish weaseal miniature with pseudodraconic scales on its underbelly.

I'm playing a fiendish troll in a game and trying to come up with a cool description.

We usaully use things like: pointed teeth (not fangs per se), black irises, red irises, small horns on their head, reddish tint to their skin, black tint to thier skin, exhales smoke when they breathe, small tail, unnerving prescence when standing next to anyone, black coarse body hair, sweat has a tint to it, voice sounds like 2 people speaking at once, skin has a scaled or cracked appearance, cloven feet, birthmark moves or changes shape based on attitude of owner, meals must be alive when consumed (usually rat, rabbit, bird, bat ....), mouth constantly drips blood, blood is black colored, tears are bloodlike, smell of sulfer/brimstone from the character.

Hairy Minotaur has some good ideas. Since outsiders are so diverse, there can be a huge variance between different fiendish, celestial, axiomatic, anarchic, and even plane-touched critters. Have fun with it.
