I totally agree with you on this one! I am really looking forward to getting my copy. Its one of the few books I plan on buying in both PDF and Print!

Heck, I'd rather see it done, "printed" as a PDF, errata'd by the readers (who will find mistakes) then go off to print.

I agree on the art preview, but personally I want to see the mithirl golem myself. also a table of contents preview would be cool too.

Well, if it is released the 14th, I am not sure that there will be any other preview... but I will buy this book asap. If all the book is of the same level as the asaath preview, it will be a great book

yeah I doubt that we'd get an art preview either but I figured I'd ask incase the book is out late. Though i do think a table of contents preview would be a good idea to wet peoples whistles

Not a lot of the art is new, since we have awesome art from Creature Collections 1, 2 and 3 to draw from.

I'll give you these tidbits:

Mithril Golem Tactics
The mithril golem uses its monolithic fists to pulverize nearly
anything it hits, and, in the rare case that a foe survives
such a pummeling, the golem holds its target in a crushing
grasp until its foe expires. Against multiple foes, it
used golem rampage and earthshaking stomp as often as
the powers recharge.

RATFOLK BROODS
Several specific broods of ratfolk have been observed, each with its
own idiosyncratic behaviors and religious practices (based on the
titan whence that brood spawned). For GMs who wish to differentiate
among these broods, apply the following adjustments to the
base stats provided above for any non-minion ratfolk. (Each member
of the brood gains one at-will power from the listed class, but
usable only as an encounter power, plus the additional benefits.)
Note: Brood leaders often have appropriate class templates as well.

And please note that March 14th isn't the street date, it's the date we're working with to get the book done. It'll take a few more days (probably a week) to get it up as a PDF.

I don't know if this book will use the GSL or not, so I can't say. I'm just laying it out and doing some art.

Quick update: The text is all in and formatted. We're still waiting for a couple of pieces of art, for the credits page (we have to hunt those down through all previous CCs) and then to finalize the index and Monster By Level appendix with the correct page numbers.

"I MUST HAVE THIS BOOK!"

Scarred Lands is the best Campaign Setting ever, and I am so glad to here it is being resurrected! I would much rather have an actual book than a PDF though.
