Klaus... I absolutely love your gnome rendition... MUCH better than the WotC pic-o-the-day one.
Being minis centric is great. Having 1000s of figs is handy and all, but not everyone has the storage space needed or spare funds to handle such a collection. A nice supply of counters really can be boon to a lot of folks.HeapThaumaturgist said:Very excellent.
I have to admit, our group is very minis and terrain centric. On the whole, I'm agnostic, but several in the group paint minis and build terrain by hand, so it is a point of pride for us to use models at the table.
But we're going to be running this adventure as a one-off and not at the location where our physical terrain and minis are stored, and this is going to prove very awesome for the whole group.
Many thanks for your hard work.

The gnome portrayed can be considered a halfway point between the cartoon one and the pic'o'day one.RPG_Tweaker said:Klaus... I absolutely love your gnome rendition... MUCH better than the WotC pic-o-the-day one.
Well, I would've gone for "Burnt Sienna Jello", but what do I know?Joshua Randall said:My favorite part is the alternate names of the creatures.
Especially the ochre-shaded jelly.
I'm totally using that from now on...
DM (me): Suddenly, you are attacked by an ochre-shaded jelly.
Players: Uh, don't you mean just an ochre jelly?
DM: No! It's an ochre-shaded jelly.
Players: What's the difference?
DM: The difference is that while you were pretending to be Van Gogh, the ochre-shaded jelly has devoured you.
Players: What...? Wait--
DM: Roll 4d6, drop lowest, six times.
You guessed it. Write down numbers so PCs and the DM can easily differentiate between monsters of the same type ("I attack goblin #47").Gort said:Great timing - I'm going to run this tomorrow! It was a pain in the neck cutting all those guys out, but it's done now.
Just one question - what's the white circle on the monsters for? Is it so I can write in a number for that monster so I can track its HP easier, or is it something else?
