Fighter Alternatives

If you can dig up a copy, Dragon #310 from a couple of years ago had several alternate Fighter classes, like the "Exoticist" (built around exotic weapons), a light-armor fighter, and some others (an Archer, I think?).

I would be very interested in any light armored fighters subsituitions.

There's the Martial Rogue which Gives up Sneak Attack to gain the Fighter Bonus Feat Progression. Granted you're stuck with d6 HD...

They're also fairly obviously about twice as strong as a core fighter is. Mind you, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it takes the melee-er out of the "low man on the totem pole" position...

i would say about 1.5 or just little less. Although they really murder the fighter when considering whats cooler.
