figuring save DCs for PRC abilities

First Post
I'm editing some stuff, and I've come across a problem that I hope someone can help me with - I don't know what the "standard" is for PrC special ability DCs. I mean, I know most of them are (DC 10+PrC level+ ability mod), but some are "1/2 level," or "DC 10 + ability mod," or something else entirely. How do I know which to use where? This would also come in handy for future reference, since I write a lot of PrCs myself, and I generally just go with the first one, because frankly I don't know any better.

Prestige classes usually use 10+ prestige level+attribute. Core classes and monsters usually use 10 + 1/2 level + attribute. Abilities based off of spells are ussually 10 + spell level +attribute.

But if you're asking for a standard, there isn't one. The ability in question should say what the DC is, or should give a rule from which you can derive the DC (e.g., it the PrC may have a spell-like ability used "as a sorcerer of the character's class level", for example, in which case the ability would use the DC for spells with Charisma mod).
