Final words...

Round 1

The party has intercepted Manticore and the Emerald Claw at the warehouse containing the Black Scrolls.
As Sedar attempts to steal Manticore's skytruck, he is discovered and attacked by zombies.

The party is in the guard shack at the entrance to the warehouse complex sixty feet away from Sedar, and has cover.
Sedar is on the driver's box of the skytruck. He does not have cover.

The zombies and the man in leather are currently behind the skytruck and have cover from the rest of the party, but not Sedar.

The order is:
Kae
Kae stays safe.

Bandanna Man
Bandanna Man readies an action.

Zook
Zook calls down a blessing from Aureon on the party.

Zombies

The zombies swarm about the skytruck, attemping to carry out their orders. Four of the zombies try to climb onto the skytruck or the phantasmal horses.

One of them actually pulls himself up to where he can attack Sedar on his next round. Sedar can take an attack of opportunity against this zombie if he desires, and it may knock the zombie back down to the ground.
The other three zombies stagger around to the other side of the skytruck, but that takes all their movement and does not permit them to climb this round.

Rethlin is up.

Rethlin stays behind cover, reaches over and touches Zook placing upon him a protective ward. This is his Domain power from the Protection domain, it grants Zook +1 resistance bonus to a save within the next hour. "This ward will help protect you friend Zook".

End of Round 1

Sedar stabs the zombie, making it lose its grip.
Zombie rolling to stick (1d20+2-7=4)

He can hear bones crunching as it hits the ground, but it's still twitching and going strong -- at least, for a corpse.

"Hey!" says the man in the bandanna. He pulls out a scroll and starts reading it with precise intonation.
Bonewright scroll check (1d20+12=24)

As he finishes the spell a dart of golden light peels off the paper, flies at Sedar, and strikes him.
Magic Missile (1d4+1=3)
Sedar takes three points of damage and the man with the bandanna looks alarmed.
"Manticore!!"

The "horses" are sluggish to Sedar's commands, but luck is with him: he gets them lifting about 10 feet off the ground and hovering slightly. They do not feel responsive at all.

(Also, these phantasmal mounts are not trained for combat: getting them to run zombies over would be pushing them -- heroic under optimal conditions and insanely difficult now: it's a DC of 27 if you want to try.)

Round 1 is ended.

Start of Round 2

Sedar is in a skytruck, 10 feet up. Under him are 7 zombies, one slightly damaged, and a man with a bandanna and a worried expression.

The rest of the party, blessed and warded, is in the guard shack 70 feet away and apparently unnoticed.

The order is:
Kae
Zook
Zombies
Rethlin
Bandanna Man
Sedar

Kae is up.

Kaodi said:
( Not run over zombies, just descend straight down on top of the zombies. You know, crunch, crunch? )

Still pushing.
Which is lucky for you, because otherwise the Claw wouldn't have had to arrange their ambushes the way they did.
