Finalists in the WOTC Campaign/Setting Contest?

Ulric

First Post
The last WOTC Setting Contest that was won by Eberron...

Which other settings made it to the finals? I know Dawnforge was one of them. What about the others? How many of them ended up being published? What is the status of the others?

Any information is appreciated.

ADD: Oh, and just because I'm curious, what kind of deal/money did Eberron's author get for Eberron. Does anyone know? Even a rough idea...

Rich Burlew said that his setting was being considered for publication similar to the way Ghostwalk was published. That was, if Ghostwalk sold well enough...

Semi-finalist: Dawnforge – Fantasy Flight Games
Semi-finalist: Morningstar – Ronald Scott Kennan
Semi-finalist: Urbis – Jürgen Hubert
Semi-finalist: Code of Unaris (The Sunset Kingdoms/Alfar Tower) - Gary Pratt
Semi-finalist: Cappedocio – Alexandre Gélinas and two other unnamed authors
Semi-finalist: Reign of Ashes – unknown author, alias is MissHappen at EN World

[Edit: Of these, Dawnforge, Morning Star, and Code of Unaris have seen print. Urbis is currently available for free download in draft format. I do not know the fates of Cappedocio and Reign of Ashes.]

We have 6 here, we have the 3 finalists, that means only 2 are missing out of 11 semi-finalists.

Yep. I haven't been able to find them, although I did try hard when I looked into the semi-finalists.

Last time the above list was posted, someone claimed that Urbis wasn't a semi-finalist. Haven't been able to find a clear yes or no on that, though.
