Also SkeletonKey Games puts out e-Adventure Tiles which would be infinitely more useful than this WotC offering. If you can print out pdfs, those are the ones to go with.

The dreaded ditto post.

But to be fair, I haven't checked out Goodman Game's tiles yet. (Although I do own the geomorphs...)

I've bought a few of Ed's .pdf tile sets.

The problem with them, though, is that my printer doesn't print out in color or on cardstock.

I'd love for Ed's tiles to be released in physical form.

That is really expensive. I highly recommend skeletonkeygames and 0one games and the hundreds you can download for free across the web.

Skeletonkeygames is fantastic. Really, really good. I'd shill for them anytime Ed asked. I may buy Ptolus just because Ed and the other artists (the French guys, I think, or maybe French Canadian with the really nice landscapes and other stuff) are building the look.

How much does WOTC pay attention to other companies? Assuming they know stuff about stuff, wouldn't they already know about SkeletonKeyGames? If so, I'd think that they'd try to go over and above what is already being released, right? Or am I just overestimating WOTC?

I think you're underestimating people's demand for "official" product.

Heck, Rackham, the guys who do Confrontaiton, have a whole slew of physical tile products out now.
