yay!

yay!!! everybody wins! especially this happy customer! there are too many talented people to let that company drift off into the ethereal plane. paizo did a good thing here. it is a winning day to see that they can all continue manufacturing such delightfully evil (and ingenious) material.

i changed my avatar to honor the occasion.

congratulations, all!!!

Boom goes the dynamite! :D

Best news I've heard since that awful thread cropped up saying that Necromancer was going away permanently.

Um, that thread never said that Necromancer was definitely going away permanently. It was a quote of what Clark's concerns were about the future of NEcromancer and what steps they may take. Unless, of course, they find a great partnership to keep things going. I know this because I am the one who started that "terrible thread" that was called a "rumor" despite my quoting Clark. If your just repeating/quoting one of the co-owners of Necromancer Games I don't know how it can be called a rumor, but ENWorld chose to label it as such.

So they found a great partnership and will be around for what will hopefully be a very long time.

:D

Excellent news indeed.

Especially if Necromancer and Paizo talked because of my "terrible rumor thread".

I deeply envy your new Avatar.

After thinking about this some more, I really hope that this becomes something more than just a publishing/distribution partnership. I think that working together, Paizo and Necromancer Games could become much bigger than the current 2 companies put together. They definitely have the best adventures in the business (IMO) so let's see what else they can do.

wow, great news! :) when i first read that the sky was falling and NG was going out of business, i was definitely disappointed. glad to see things are quite the opposite!

i even wrote an as-yet-unpublised article for Dragon that has an in-joke reference to an NG product, which if it gets printed i hope stays in. ;)
