I wonder how well Paizo will do selling back issues? I know they have an agreement that allows them to sell out of memorabilia, like mugs and such, but I wonder how their back issue situation is being handled?

They stated on their forums that they're allowed to sell the back issues as long as they last.

Oh, about the comic, they also said that Dragon and Dungeon were profitable. It wasn't Paizo's decision to end the license. (Though I understand that all involved are still friends, Wotc apparently bent over backwards to give Paizo the time to transition to Pathfinder.)

And if someone for some obscure reason wants my opinion on electronic 'piracy', I think that Eric Flint says it better over at http://www.baen.com/library/

/Jonas, looking forward to his shiny new toys^H^H^H^HPathfinder issues.

The funny thing is, when I clicked on the link, the next day's strip was up, and it was about Spiderman. For a second there, I thought you were talking about back issues and memorabilia of Spiderman. :heh:

Well, it was true when Paizo had the license that they could sell back issues as PDF's if the back issues were sold out first. Now that the license has gone back to WOTC, I have no idea.

Our understanding is that we can sell PDFs in perpetuity. We definitely can sell existing copies for as long as they last, and a lot of them will last a very, very long time.
