Non-Core Rules stuff

So I had to go to a splat book, or a book that came out pretty late in 3e's career, as opposed to being in the core book. Gotcha.

Also nobles typically are rolling in dough. Also see: poor economy rules. Yeah, 3.5 had an economy, but it broke down really quickly (to build a cr 1 pit trap, it costs 1,000gp, or that peasants couldn't feed themselves on a regular basis due to food prices vs. pay).

Aren't we discussing a splat book right now? Isn't every book except the 3 core optional. Your points in this post seem highly irrelevant since you've gone from the stance of no edition covers this stuff to... no edition covers all of this stuff in the core rules. And no ex-nobles, which is what we were talking about are not typically rolling in dough... as for the economy who said it was realistic, I didn't. But contrary to what you claimed everything you asked about was addressed at some point in time during 3.5's run. But whatever man you keep shifting gioalposts instead of just admitting you were wrong.

"There is no sarcasm."
"Only Zul."

So you want, what? A complex algorithm to sort out the cost of any item in the world based on... current market price?

Or do you actually want a giant tome with the price of every single possible item?
It is possible to have something in-between.

Bah, peasants. Make them eat and poop out dirt. It really simplifies and explains the whole economy.
