Finding Nemo

Saw it today, with my kids. I loved it, my 6 year really enjoyed it and wants it on video to see at home. The 3 year old enjoyed it, but had attention issues towards the end. She fell asleep on the 10 minute ride home, so she was probably just tired.

Another Pixar film to buy.

Absolutly a wonderful film, excelent cast. As for that preview, the Mackenzies are hilarious, but i made the comment "You couldn't drag me behind a truck to see this movie" My sister missed the rest of the previews laughing so hard.

Boy, do Disney movies sure look bad. Especially in comparison to Pixar, but it seems like everyone is doing the animation thing better than Disney.

And a (chicken) pox upon all the little runts who wouldn't go to see Disney movies like Atlantis, Treasure Planet and my favorite, Lilo and Stitch. Maybe they weren't masterpieces (except L&S), but thanks to their non-attendance, now we get talking bears and Phil Collins soundtracks. Thanks a bunch, brats.

Man! Do I ever want to see this flick. I just haven't gotten the chance to get out and see it as of yet. Pixar is like my personal Jeebus...

I clicked on this thread out of pure masochism.

Pixar seems to be unable to produce a bad movie. Their imdb ratings keep getting higher and higher. So is this the greatest movie company ever or what? :)

Now you've gone and jinxed them. :p

But seriously, they just seem to have all the parts in place. Good writers and fantastic animators. They concentrate on quality. I wonder how long they can keep it up...

Inspired by "Finding Nemo", anyone interested in experiencing the undersea realm is free to explore my underwater PbP campaign "Beneath the Pinnacles of Azor'alq". While currently there are no PC clownfish named Nemo or Marlin, I do have a player with a collective school of damselfish, a form of sea swarm known as a skool, as a character.

The Campaign Background

What I thought was funniest was that Dori's personality is equal to my best friend's. Both of them have the shortest memories, and they can annoy the hell out of you, but you just can't help but love them.

Lilo and Stitch? Yeah, I loved that one. I laughed and laughed. Mostly to this comment and what happens next:

"Why don't you try creating instead..."
"Wow, San Fransisco!"

Lol! :)

I thought Treasure Planet was a masterpiece. I sure seem to watch the DVD enough.

Oh, and technically, Pixar is Disney.

No way. It's a seperate entity; Disney just helps distribute the stuff and takes a sizable cut of profits. And if Pixar IS Disney Pixar wouldn't be looking around at other studios to distribute their stuff once the contract with Disney expires (two more movies to go). Pixar had a raw deal in their contract with The Magic Kingdom, and now they're looking to break free.

Disney has really gone down the toilet, coopting the stuff from their archives such as Lion King II and Jungle Book II, and Brother Bear looks like it won't reverse the trend of animation duds.
