Fire at GenCon? ALL CLEAR

Just heard from a friend at GenCon. A fire alarm was set off in the Convention Center and everyone had to evacuate. No idea yet if real or false alarm. Anyone have further info?

Hmm, I was there all four days and never heard a word about it.
I'm trying to find a news story about it, but haven't had any luck yet.

Yeah, this. I do remember, while I was having dinner outdoors at one of the nearby restaurants, a couple of fire trucks went screaming by, but they stopped near the Ram, not at the center, and they weren't there very long. (And the Ram was running as normal mere minutes later, so either it was a false alarm or something minor.)

I was in line at the RPGA Dungeon Delve when the alarms went off and we were told by loudspeaker to evacuate.

My group and I figured it'd be awhile once we saw the two big trucks pull up, but from what I heard today at Gen Con, it only lasted about 10 minutes.

Thanks to the telephone game, I'm still not 100% sure what happened, as I've heard anything from small fire, to bomb threat, to some smoke. Either way, we watched local news all night on Saturday and nothing was mentioned, so it must not have been major.

It was Saturday night, at the convention center. Somebody pulled the fire alarm, and the fire trucks were there in under 5 minutes. The fire marshall MADE us leave. I don't know how long it took for the all-clear, as we were done for the night anyway and we just went to the Ram for dinner, so there definately wasn't a problem there.
