Monsters of the Boundless Blue: The Wanderers Guild Guide to Aquatic Organisms

I wanted to run an acquatic campaign, and needed critters that the PC's (long-time D&D players) wouldn't recognize as soon as I described them.
This book was far from perfect, but it was just the ticket for my game.
I used almost every critter in the book, and the usefulness of this book prompted me to purchase the other Wanderer's Guild book Monsters of the Endless Dark. I was equally satisfied with that, and I'll grab Primeval Groves when it hits my FLGS too. :D

1st printing of the 3e PHB from a pre-order. It was missing 32 pages in the combat section which really ticked me off, it took me a long while to figure out AoOs.

It took my group until 3.5 to realize that we'd been running combat very wrong. ;)

The Diomin campaign setting.

Which reminds me, I have a post to make in the "worst ever" thread.

My god, yes. I'd skimmed that thread and not been able to come up with something that really inspired ire, but I must have blocked this one out. <shudders>

My first 3e purchase was the PHB, on the day it was released at GenCon. Very cool experience. :)

Players Handbook of course. First non WOTC core rulebook was Creature Catalog I think.

I got Kingdoms of Kalamar but for some reason the setting never clicked for me.

PHB and Wheel of Time. Returned the PHB right away when I discovered I didn't need it to play WoT. Biggest gaming store in Sweden failed to get the info out properly. :\ Actually still don't own the PHB (although I have the 3.0 DMG - got it for about $5)! ;)
