First Impressions of The Tomb of Abysthor

My first impressions of The Tomb of Abysthor are very good. This looks like one NASTY old-school dungeon to sic on your mid-level PCs. And with 6+ levels to explore, they should be busy for quite awhile. On top of that, $11.99 for a 96-page adventure ain't bad at all.

The only downsides I have noted so far are that some of the level maps are rather small (maybe Necromancer can post larger versions on their site) and the fact that you need Relics and Rituals to run one of the major NPCs.

Care to elaborate on WHY you need R&R? Is it a spell, pr-class or something else?

One of the module's major NPCs is a Rune Mage and many of his spells are detailed in Relics and Rituals.
