I had a first session with my group today. Well, two members of my group. 4 people I couldn't reach at all, and the other two I didn't reach in time. Still, the two that were there made their characters and things went pretty well.
The characters are a necromancer worshiper of Wee Jas, and a fighter-type (kind of a cool Samurai/Monk wannabe, fights armorless with a katana and his fists (has unarmed strike feat)) with aspirations to become a wizard. After they made their characters, we still had some time to kill (or so we thought, none of us had a watch) so they made their way through an adventure I completely BSed my way through. Considering all that, I think it went fairly well. Though now I have to get the other 6 players up to speed...
