Yes, I've got the book. Looks pretty good this far, but I've really only thumbed through the pages once. One thing bugging me is the reused art from the ECS ... but it's only two pieces or so, and the rest is solid new stuff.

I like it. 5 levels, all but one level Arcane progression: but to get it you have to turn undead, so over all you are looking at loosing two levels of sorcerer/wizard caster. So it is still very doable. Neat effects that make you a viable multi-caster class without giving dual caster levels.

What is the subject of this book? What is ECS?
 



I got it yesterday, along with the Starship Troopers RPG, so I have not gotten to read it, just flipped through it. So far sooooo gooood ;)

I think this is the most attractive prestige class in a while, for me. It's the first prestige class in a long time I've considered playing. If my halfling wizard's personality wasn't incompatible with the class (no possibility he would consider worshiping the Silver Flame), I would consider moving in that direction.

Very focused on fire spells, gradually the fire damage gets moved to sacred damage. You gain the ability to "smite evil" with a spell (basically, a spell is empowered against evil opponents if you use this ability).
