Fix a CR 8 critter with 37hp

Monsters from the monster manual only have the equipment they are shown to possess there... Maybe I've missed something...

A CR 8 creature will have CR 8 treasure. Most of that will be items that are useful to it (even if not immediately - it may be keeping an unusable item to trade). So it might have a ring, perhaps a Cloak of Displacement, a magic weapon...

Keep in mind, CR can vary depending on the encounter. I had a fairly nasty encounter planned, that went awry because of the terain and the lack of the ability to close quickly. I had another that scared the party dearly (Horrid Troll Warriors (Fighter 2)) and would have been deadly if they hadn't had to charge and the party had reacted quickly to put up some barriers.
