Also Warlocks are the least castery caster in 5e. The fewest available spell slots to use in a given fight, and the most powerful resourceless basic attack. Design wise they're half way to a martial.

I think theyre better at control/summons and moderate damage vs a blaster.

If I was one I would short rest every fight or 1.5 roughly.

Theyre versatile. Not sure if i would build a blaster one but fiendpact and celestial are maybes.
