About the Podcast

The hosts of the Flagons & Dragons podcast are friends who enjoy both tabletop gaming and fine craft beers. When we’re homebrewing together, we’re talking about gaming, and when we’re gaming, we’re drinking our homebrews.

First and foremost, this podcast is about tabletop gaming. Each week we get together and play the Pathfinder RPG, Dark Heresy, Necromunda, Malifaux, Warhammer Fantasy or Warhammer 40,000. So even if you’re not a beer enthusiast, hopefully you can find some common ground and have a few laughs with us.

For this episode, it’s the Top 5 Heroes in a Fantasy Novel or Series.

Well articulated well thought out commentary.

And I second the Flagons [Without Dragons] suggestion. You're fun.

Since when does a Viking funeral use a foghorn? ;)

Andrew (The White Wanderer) actually owns a viking-type horn which sounds a bit like that first horn sound... although not as loud! That was a nearby fire station. Guess they had someplace to go in a hurry.

Thanks for listening guys.

PS. The pellet with the poison is in the vessel with the pestle.

PPS. We didn't name the show because of the Danny Kaye movie. We didn't even know of it until somebody pointed that out to us. Quite a cool coincidence though!

I posted our first video podcast, which is a Nuts and Bolts episode, I walk-through the Hero Lab software and create Carlos the dwarf as an example.

If you can give me the correct reference to Carlos the dwarf, I'll give a shout-out on the next podcast. =) Don't post it here! Send an email to carlFLAgonsanddragons.com
