FLGS in Las Vegas?

TresGeek

First Post
I'll be traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada the week after next and I always love to check out the local game stores in an area that's new to me. I particularly like the ones that have a lot of OOP books to browse through and will hopefully bring home a couple of old gems. Any suggestions? I'll have a car so I won't mind if it's a bit of a drive either.

Maybe you should mention your starting point. There might be some on the way worth taking a side trip to see. :)

I was stationed at Nellis AFB about 8 years ago so had a chance to discover some nice game stores. Unfortunately, since it has been 8 years, I can't remember the names or the exact locations of either of the two I frequented.

I recall one was near UNLV on Tropicana(?). Just east of campus (a couple of stop lights) in a little strip mall on the southeast side of the Tropicana-Eastern intersection, I think.

The other was near Meadows Mall, I believe. Can't remember the name or any better location than that. In fact if it weren't for Google Maps, I wouldn't have remembered the mall's name. This place I remember had a large quantity of older and OOP stuff.

Sorry my post is about as vague and useless as possible, but as of 1997, there were a couple of good FLGS in Las Vegas.

Good Luck! Oh, ride the roller coaster at New York, New York. Very fun.

In Las Vegas:

Dreamland Hobbies
4700 S Maryland Pkwy, Suite 5

Good place, however, I do not remember seeing any OOP.
It also has a very nice mural around the entrance of the store

Well unless Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, where I'll be changing planes, has anything good I think I'll be out of luck. :D

Thanks for the other suggestions, BV210 and Thorindale. Those will give me something to seek out in the evenings.
