Third Planet
Torrance, CA (Corner of PCH and Hawthorne... On the side of the parking lot at the BestBuy... the GemCo *used* to be.)
Third Planet is THE place for just about every gamer within 50 miles. Or, at least, was the last time I lived in the area.

Brookhurst Hobbies
Garden Grove, CA
GREAT place for minis and mini painting supply. Also has a good selection of books. They also have a Website

Game Castle
Fullerton, CA
A good solid FLGS. Had a few friends who've worked here over the years. If they don't have it, they can get it.

The War House
Long Beach, CA
It's been a very long time since I've visited this place, but it's still there as far as I know. This is where we would go after the D&D supportive Manager at the Del Amo Mall Game Keeper left, and before Third Planet opened. If you read KotDT... This is how I picture "Wierd Pete's". As I remember this place was largely focused on Minis, as the name would imply, but they did have an impressive variety of printed materials.

The Last Grenadier
Burbank, CA
I only went to this place once, back when it was in Northridge. It was a good little place for books then. Not sure about now... But I believe it was established in annother thread a while ago that this is the only place to go for the Valley/LA area...

Orange, CA
The Block at Orange has both a WotC store and a Games Workshop Store.
