Focusing on the Game

No, but a shallow short-attention-span playstyle is almost invariably focused on killing things and taking their stuff.

(And lest there be any confusion, I'm not at all intending to put down the "shallow short-attention-span playstyle" which is, in fact, by far my favored playstyle as both player and DM -- I absolutely think the game is at its best when the plots are simple, the characterizations even simpler, OOC chatter is not only tolerated but expected, and the action is non-stop; I wouldn't want to play any other way...)

I am currently running War of The Burning Sky and haven't even finished the first installment. I may take your advice and change it up a lot to make it more fast paced. I think a quick paced dungeon crawl is what the doctor ordered since one of the best sessions we have had was the only time we did a dungeon crawl.

Thanks for all the awsome input, I would use the piggy bank idea but not all of us have jobs :]
