It would be nice if this cyberpunk world updated some of the common stereotypes of the genre to the 21st century. Please, please, no ginormous japanese megacorporations or decaying rustbelt industries. Read something other than Gibson and Sterling.

If this is simply Generic Cyberpunk World #5, then I can do one of those myself. Take some cues from extropians and Huntington, and update it to current events, not old cliches from the 1980s (or 1990s).

And don't make it politically-correct, for God's sake. Cyberpunk was always anti-establishment, and political correctness is profoundly Establishment today.

If it's all Gibson and neo-marxist drivel, then it's garbage. If it's more like The Diamond Age or at least clever enough like Stand on Zanzibar, that would be worth buying.

Well, if you're looking for cyberpunk material that takes a step away from some of the tradition, I'll be converting the Neo-City Sourcebook over to D20 Modern by the end of November. It's definitely not politically correct and its more current than most cyberpunk work (one of the drivers in development was the "offshore globalization" effort to generate some tax breaks made by Stanley when they moved their corporate HQ out of the United States and down to the Bahamas or Bermuda, whichever it was. Best of all, if you don't want to wait, you can read the old Cyberpunk 2020 version of it now. Just hit my company site in my sig and work your way to the freebies page to get it.
