For those of you who have played both D20 and original COC

I have played COC with the original rules but havent yet with the new D20 rules.

Anyone care to compare the two?
perhaps on grounds of Lethality? Perhaps the weapons rules that i noticed were incredibley simplistic. Is COC compatible with a level oriented game? Would it have been more interesting had Cook and Tynes left in some of the class abilities featured in the Core Books?

Which system do you prefer and why?
