Seven Sets: Micro Wheels, Mini Robots, High Flyers {aircraft models you sick pups! ;)}, Maximum Wheels, Wild Collection, Little Creations, and Robobots.

Ten plus model designs given, some kits can be combined with another kit. Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert designs... plus ones from your own grey matter.

$6.99 US - 29.99 US.

I have not bought any yet (I just found out about them yesterday) and do not have my paper catalog which usually has different info, so I do not know how many of what could be constructed with a single set... nor have I calculated the number of pieces given to guesstimate anything.

All I know is that the pics of the crab, ant, dragonfly, and the gecko/chameleon, scream - "Buy for your children then thief them for your gaming table!!!"

>cough,huff<

Looks like they may be the right size for large to gigantic creatures to go up against your SYSTEM figs. Gigantic LEGO ant(s) VS LEGO Brachiosaurus... with figs caught in the middle! :D

OK... enough rambling from me...

Welcome to the Boards, RC. Steve Jackson of GURPS fame also uses Lego ships for his convention Pirate Game; lots of uses for the things :)

Man, those things are cool. I loved Legos as a kid and I can't wait til my son is old enough for me to start buying them again. :)

them bricks...

Thankee WayneLigon. I might have had enough LEGO ships to take on Mr. Jackson... 'cept the wife cut me off >shrug<. USS Constellation was looking quite nice to and the Black Seas Barracuda and... well, speaking of my being cut off...

I think they are nifty also and - Why wait! Stock up now (gods know I have) fill the barn and never have to buy the child another present from the time they are six on up!!!
Think of it this way... you get them a single line of toys (well two or three lines) and let them waste their money (or someone elses) on the latest fad.

(Then when they leave home the bricks will all be yours... which was what my plan was from the very beginning... to bad the wife caught on)

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT...

I forgot to mention:

I am in no way a representative of the LEGO corporation trying to push their product...

Though if you have some you should get more... just make sure you have a good amount of disposable cash. 'Cause there is a threshold, when reached, where you just cannot stop your purchases...

Though that is another thread...

A friend of mine has a ton of Castle lego sets. We decided we needed minis for a particularly complex fight, so we broke out the LEGO figures, and used them. They worked so well, he spent the next week building mounts and accessories for our Lego figures. In a few weeks we were all playing with the legos as much as we were playing D&D. Fun stuff...

Aaaahhhhh... the castles...

Nothing like 'em. Good guy castles, Bad guy castles, there is the harry potter castle...

I better quit while ahead. Best are the figs. Some come with a breastplate (they even have silver shiny ones now). Some figs have scale mail, chain (i think) or a breast plate painted on them.

I have been collecting the Star Wars ones, specifically the jedi, for the outfits... good desert look there.

Might have to move this thread to a game discussion board...

Buy more castles F5!!! Ten are never enough!
